Total applications placed across all the firms was 183,300 out of which 176,950 were approved and 6,350 were denied. This gives us a 97.31% approval rate for the Top 20 firms, whereas, the overall approval rate among all firms is 96.54%. This is a good sign, showing that the averages from the Top 20 firms are representative of all the employers across the United States that seemed a H-1B visa for its employees.
Which states in 2023 had the most employers that are seeking a H-1B visa?
Out of a total of 33,331 employers that looked for an immigrant employee, 17,097 employers which is 51.29% of all the employers are from 5 states. Below is a table showing the number of employers in the Top 5 states:
